Local and opinion leaders in the Sebei- sub region have called for effective leadership with accountability and transparency at all levels to ensure the success of the Local Economic Development policy (LED) on broadening local resource mobilization and the critical role they play as stakeholders in its implementation. This was revealed during a district dialogue on the LED policy and philanthropy as the driver for economic development in Kapchorwa. During the engagement organized by Kapchorwa Civil Society Organization’s Alliance (KACSOA) in partnership with the Uganda National NGO forum and Ministry of Local Government, participants highlighted several strategies and action points aimed at revitalizing development in Sebei- sub region.
